Devara Hindi Collection Takes A Big Hit After Jigra, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video Dussehra Release
The release of new Hindi films Jigra and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video on Dusshera has proved to be a roadblock for Devara Part 1, starring Jr NTR.
Devara Box Office Collection: Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor star in the pan-India action drama Devara Part 1 has emerged as a hit in its 18-day run at the box office. The collections are majorly driven by Telugu markets, while the Hindi version has also contributed to the business, albeit not as expected. With the release of Alia Bhatt starrer Jigra and Rajkummar Rao's Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, the Hindi biz of Devara has been affected drastically and fell below ₹1 crore mark over the third weekend.
Devara crosses ₹500 crore mark worldwide
According to the makers, Devara crossed the ₹500 crore box office milestone on October 13, on its 18th day in the theatres. According to Sacnilk, India collection of the film stands at ₹275 crore in all languages. In its first week, the film managed to make ₹215.6 crore, but the business declined drastically in the second week and stood at ₹45.25 crore.
In Hindi, Devara has managed to collect a little over ₹59 crore. The presence of Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor has pulled the audiences to cinema halls but collections remain subpar. The release of new Hindi films Jigra and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video on Dusshera has proved to be a roadblock for Devara.
How Jigra and Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video are performed on opening weekend
