The mom-to-be Deepika delighted her fans by sharing her stunning look on Instagram Stories, showcasing her choice of attire for the occasion. Her custom-made saree by Torani was adorned with intricate traditional embroidery, reflecting timeless elegance.

Deepika Padukone’s historical bazuband 

Adding to the allure of her ensemble, Deepika accessorized with a historical bazuband necklace. This bazuband holds significant historical value, as it is linked to the family of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the illustrious emperor of the Sikh Empire. 

The exquisite piece features white sapphires and a central large spinel, reminiscent of the renowned Timur Ruby from Ranjit Singh's collection, once safeguarded in the Lahore State treasury.

The head veil boasts impossibly delicate jaali and cut-work, while the detachable trail is a Zardozi marvel of 80 inches. A fully embroidered red shoulder dupatta adds maximal drama to the overall silhouette.
