The makers of upcoming Marathi film Gadkari released an official teaser yesterday. The said teaser also updated on Gadkari’s release date. Gadkari is the official biopic of Union Minister Nitin Gadkari.

Gadkari biopic to delve into politician's life
The teaser intercuts the images of Mumbai’s developing infrastructure with a voiceover from the protagonist who says “When this country will be known for its roads, that’s when I will declare with pride and happiness.. I am Nitin Gadkari.”
Reportedly, the film will also delve into the personal life of the renowned political figure, besides capturing his accomplishments as a union minister. Nitin Gadkari has been serving as the Minister of Road Transport and Highways for the past 9 years. He is also the longest-serving minister for this department. Nitin Gadkari is also known as the ‘Highway Man of India.’
Who will play Gadkari in the Marathi biopic?
While the teaser doesn’t reveal the face of the actor playing the titular protagonist, reportedly many famous Bollywood actors were approached for the biopic. Earlier on Friday, October 6, the makers shared a poster of the film, without mentioning the release date. The film also has an official Instagram page, which describes the film as ‘a realistic depiction of Union Minister Mr. Nitin Gadkari’s life story.’

Gadkari’s music is composed by renowned Marathi music director Abhijeet Majumdar. Director Anurag Rajan Bhusari, who has also written the film, makes his directorial debut with this film. The film is produced by Akshay Anant Deshmukh. It is slated to release on October 27.
