The makers of Kasoombo in association with Pen Studios are all set to captivate audiences across India once again with the release of the critically acclaimed Gujarati film Kasoombo in Hindi. Following its success in Gujarat, the film is poised to enthrall audiences nationwide as it hits theaters on May 3, 2024. The original film released in theatres on February 16.
What is Kasoombo about?
Directed by Vijaygiri Bava, Kasoombo is a historical epic that transports viewers back to the latter half of the 13th century, a time marked by the relentless ambition of Allauddin Khilji. Driven by his lust for conquest in BharatVarsh, Khilji’s tyranny sparked a tale of resistance and valour that would echo through the ages.
At the heart of Kasoombo lies the inspiring true story of Dadu Barot and his band of 51 villagers who courageously stood against the formidable might of the Khilji army to save the temples and uphold the glory of Sanatan Sanskriti.
