Chrissy Teigen recently celebrated her husband John Legend's 45th birthday. She celebrated his birthday in style, coordinating, all-black ensemble during a New York City date night. Teigen, aged 37, embraced the contemporary no-pants trend, donning a sheer, low-cut blouse paired with ultra-short velvet hotpants, reports People magazine. Her appearance was accentuated by fishnet tights, strappy heels, and a metallic gold handbag adorned with black tassel detailing.

Teigen's brunette locks cascaded in loose waves, adding a touch of effortless glamour to her overall appearance. She accessorised the glittering one-piece, which featured a silver crystal-embellished collar, with shimmering sky-high platinum boots and Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Complementing his wife's sartorial choice, John Legend exhibited his own fashion sensibilities. He chose an unbuttoned silk shirt beneath a belted jacket, cinched at the waist, paired with black pants and boots. 

The couple's all-black attire not only displayed their individual style but also highlighted their seamless coordination for this special occasion. The outing symbolises elegance and sophistication as the couple celebrated in a fashion-forward manner, leaving an indelible mark on John Legend's 45th birthday celebration. As per People, the couple was clicked by the cameras holding hands as they headed to Ralph Lauren’s eatery The Polo Bar in Manhattan to celebrate Legend's special day.

The trend of stepping out in outfits that include no pants has been adopted by plenty of celebrities this year, including Anne Hathaway, Hailey Bieber and Jodie Turner-Smith. Kendall Jenner also rocked the look at this year’s Met Gala, wearing a sequined black bodysuit with exaggerated, floor-skimming sleeves and nothing on her lower half.

Chrissy Teigen-John Legend relationship timeline

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend met in 2006 while filming the music video for his song Stereo. They became engaged in 2011 and married in 2013.  Teigen, an actress and producer known for her roles in The Mitchells vs the Machines (2021), Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation (2018), and Between Two Ferns: The Movie (2019). Legend dedicated his 2013 song All of Me to Teigen.

In 2023, the couple renewed their vows in Lake Como, Italy to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
