Not just in India, the hype of the film seems to be massive around the globe. Directed by Shawn Levy and starring Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman in the titular roles respectively, Deadpool & Wolverine is the third film in the franchise. The 334th film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe follows the story of Deadpool (2016) and Deadpool 2 (2018).
As per Deadline, the movie is “looking at $340 million - $360 million opening at the global box office, including $180 million - $190 million overseas start which would be the biggest for an R-rated.” If the projections hold true, Deadpool & Wolverine can become one of the highest opening Marvel movies post-pandemic to follow in suit of Spider-Man: No Way Home ($600 million) and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness ($452 million).
