Deadpool & Wolverine trumps Oppenheimer in India
Oppenheimer was one of the most talked about Hollywood movies of 2021. A year later, another Hollwyood July release - Deadpool & Wolverine has taken over the reins. The film has collected $1.086 billion at the global box office after 23 days of release, reports Variety.
In India, the Marvel Cinematic Universe film has raked in ₹ 131.33 Cr as per Sacnilk. Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige said, "It’s fantastic to see that audiences are loving this movie as much as we all loved making it. All those conversations were worth it.” Previously, Oppenheimer minted ₹ 131.73 Cr in India. The film reached the collection in 63 days, while Deadpool & Wolverine achieved the feat in just 22 days.
