Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 55th birthday yesterday, June 24. However, days ago, she had hosted a Bridgerton-themed birthday bash in Hamptons, New York. Now, the actress has shared a video from her bash, offering a glimpse of a soirée of unparalleled opulence she hosted. For the unversed, her husband and actor Ben Affleck was absent from the extravagant celebration.

Taking to her Instagram handle, JLo has shared a video, showcasing a montage of moments from her birthday party, held on July 20. It shows a collection of images of her throughout the night, as well as videos of guests and performers dancing as if they were at a 19th-century English ball. In one of the frames, Lopez can be seen singing into a microphone. The video ends with the singer blowing out the candles on a cake as sparkles fly behind her. Her caption also had a Bridgerton touch, she wrote, “Dearest Gentle Reader… And a splendid evening was had by all."

Those who attended her birthday bash included her mother Guadalupe Rodríguez, who was seen arriving at the event with friends dressed in period-appropriate attire.

After offering a glimpse of her birthday bash, JLo shared photos of her birthday morning. In the images, she can be seen in pyjamas and looking at a three-tier cake on the table. The table and cake are beautifully decorated with flowers and in the background, we can see "Happy Birthday" balloons hanging. The singer is also wearing a "Happy Birthday" headband. In the caption, she penned a long note thanking his family, friends and fans for the birthday wishes.

I could never express how moved I am or how incredibly blessed I feel to have all of you be a part of my life. Thank you sooooo very much. It’s hard to believe we have spent all this time together.
