Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck Divorce: In less than than two years of their marriage, JLo and Ben, lovingly called Bennifer, called it quits. With several rumours floating around about the reason behind their separation, it is being claimed that Jennifer might be angry at Ben for several reasons.

According to reports, Jlo is furious and determined to secure a substantial divorce settlement as she moves forward with the split. Ben left her at a point where she “looks like a fool”.

As per reports, the real reason behind their divorce is the former couple’s drifted apart when Ben, who has history of alcohol issues, objected to JLo’s new cocktail line. Since Ben is recovering and staying sober, he found Jennifer’s alcohol brand, Delola, as an insult to his struggles with maintaining sobriety. 

When and how did Jennifer and Ben meet?

Jennifer and Ben first met in 2002 on their set of their film, Gigli. The former couple  were engaged to be married back in 2003. The wedding however, was called off a mere three days before the day-of. 

The reason behind calling of the marriage in 2003 was Ben Affleck too weighed in on the reflections, blaming media scrutiny as the primary reason behind the pressure on their relationship. Ben Affleck in the documentary said, "When Jen and I broke up before, the catalyst for that was the massive amount of scrutiny around our private life."

Ben Affleck had married Jennifer Garner previously and has three kids with her, Violet, Seraphina and Samuel. While Jennifer Lopez married Marc Anthony and had two kids, Emme and Max. She was later engaged to Alex Rodriguez before the two went their separate ways in 2021.

Jennifer and Ben rekindled their romance in 2021. Their whirlwind courtship period saw the duo tie the knot in July of 2022.
