Jeremy Renner credits daughter Ava Berin as 'reason number 1' behind recovery post snowplow accident

Jeremy Renner has spent the entirety of last year in intense recovery following the horrifying snowplow accident he was involved in. The actor, who is set to resume work within the first week of January, recently shared a post reflecting on his long and painful road to recovery. The highlight of this post however, was him crediting his daughter as the primary reason behind his healing.

Jeremy Renner took to his Instagram handle to share a poignant black and white photo of daughter Ava hugging him tight. Speaking about how she had been his crutch through his period of healing, Renner described having her by his side as a collective healing journey which healed him, physically, and her, emotionally.

The caption to the post read, "Reason number One for my recovery is her. I asked her to 'wait for me' when I first saw her January 14 as I arrived home. As I got better, she got better, less afraid. There is simply no better motivator to recover than to heal your family and friends…. With gratitude always , thank you all for your love and support this last full year. I needed every ounce of goodwill and prayer..."

Jeremy Renner is all set to return to work

Jeremy Renner will be returning to work within the first week of January. The confirmation came in directly from the actor in a response to his Mayor of Kingstown co-star Emma Laird's cheerful Instagram story expressing excitement to be on set with him again. Laird's caption simply read "Back with my favourite guy next week @jeremyrenner" followed by a red heart emoticon.

Sharing the same to his Instagram stories, Renner simply wrote, "It's happening". Renner will be joining the third season of show Mayor of Kingstown.
