Matthew Perry has been buried at a secret spot with other A-listers from Hollywood

Matthew Perry breathed his last on October 28 at the age of 54. The actor passed away by apparent drowning in his apartment in Los Angeles. Days later, his funeral service was held on Friday (November 3). As per new reports, the private burial site where Perry has been buried is also the site where other A-listers have also been laid to rest.  

Matthew Perry's secret burial spot revealed 

Following his funeral, which was attended by his Friends co-stars, actor Matthew Perry has reportedly been secretly laid to rest in an A-list section of a star-studded cemetery. According to TMZ, the private burial site is situated behind gates and also serves as the final resting place for Michael Clarke Duncan. The Sanctuary of Treasured Love is located in Forest Lawn’s Court of Remembrance, where A-listers including Debbie Reynolds, Carrie Fisher, Sandra Dee, Andy Gibb and Bette Davis are also buried.

As per TMZ, there was a large flower arrangement on Matthew’s gravesite following his funeral service on Friday (03.11.23), but it had been removed by Tuesday (07.11.23) and the site now appears bare. Perry, who played sarcastic yet amiable Chandler Bing on FRIENDS for 10 years, was honoured at his funeral on Friday at Forest Lawn by his co-stars from the sitcom – Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc.

The news of Matthew Perry’s death sent a shock wave across the globe. Several members of the film and television fraternity paid their homage to the actor. His co-star from FRIENDS Jennifer Aniston is reported to be most disturbed as per reports. 

The actress and the other four surviving members of the cast of Friends mourned him at his funeral on Friday. “Out of the remaining five, Jen and Courteney (Cox) are reeling the most, and Jen is probably the one who is struggling most acutely,” said the source. “It’s a second massive loss in less than a year, with the first anniversary of her dad’s death just around the corner. She still hasn’t fully regained her footing from that, and now this has just completely knocked her off her feet.” The 54-year-old star joined remaining cast members Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc, at Perry’s funeral at Forest Lawn cemetery in LA on Friday, minutes away from the Warner Bros. studios where they filmed the NBC sitcom for a decade.
