Catherine Zeta-Jones, who came to India in November, is busy exploring the country. The veteran actress hasn't returned to the USA but instead decided to celebrate Christmas Eve with Michael Douglas and children Carys Zeta Douglas and Dylan Michael Douglas in Mahabalipuram. She has shared a series of photos and showed how the Douglas family celebrated the eve.

Taking to her Instagram handle, Catherine shared a photo posing with local women in sarees. The actress can be seen in a black shirt paired with polka-dot pants and a hat to accentuate her look. In the caption, she wrote, "Christmas Eve in India with these beautiful ladies."
Soon after she shared the post, actor Jackie Shroff commented, "Real people real vibes Merry Christmas."
Catherine also shared photos on her Instagram Stories posing with her husband and children. In the first image, she posed for a selfie with Michael and revealed enjoying chicken tikka. In the caption, she wrote, "Christmas Eve... in India. Chicken Tikka Masala... and this guy." In another photo, a woman can be seen walking on the road and captioned it as "Last minute shopping. India." Last but not the least, is of her kids - Carys and Dylan posing at the top of the temple. The text reads, "Top of the temple".

Catherine Zeta-Jones at IFFI 2023
Catherine arrived in India to attend the 54th edition of the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa, where Michael was awarded the Satyajit Ray Excellence in Film Lifetime Award. During her appearance, she opened up about her love for India and Indian cinema. She said, "I love the country and the people so very much. I am a big fan of Indian Cinema. My children have grown up watching Om Shanti Om on a loop! Not just once… There are so many great movies that I have been able to watch."
Calling Irrfan Khan starrer Lunchbox her favourite film, she said, "It touched me, it was so well acted, so well directed. It was a story that was so fundamentally Indian but it connected to men and women all over the world. It connected to me as a woman."
