Michael Douglas, who is currently in India with his family - wife Catherine Zeta-Jones and son Dylan - is busy touring. Recently, he visited Brihadisvara Temple in Thanjavur, Tamil Nadu, with his family. On Tuesday, he shared a series of photos offering a glimpse of his spiritual sojourn.
Inside Michael Douglas' visit to Brihadisvara Temple with family
On Instagram, Douglas shared photos of offering prayers at the temple. In the first image, he can be seen posing with his wife Catherine and son Dylan, while in the backdrop, we can see the beautiful temple. They can be seen donning garlands around their necks. The second image of them is from inside the temple. The last image showed the family in white ensembles posing on the steps of a beautiful structure, seemingly a picture from the other day.
The actor-producer captioned the photos as "Sightseeing India with the best Catherine and Dylan. #India."
Michael Douglas received the prestigious award at IFFI 2023
Michael Douglas was honoured with the prestigious Satyajit Ray Lifetime Achievement Award for Excellence in Cinema at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Goa at the closing ceremony on November 28. Upon receiving the award, Douglas said, "It’s a tremendous honor to receive this award, a career life achievement. When I heard about the award, my family and I were elated."

Douglas also expressed his admiration for Indian Cinema, saying RRR, Om Shanti Om and Lunch Box are some of his favourite Indian films. Catherine Zeta-Jones, an eminent actress and the wife of Michael Douglas, was also felicitated. Catherine said it was heartwarming to see the generosity and hospitality they received in India.
