Taylor Swift reigns the No 1 spot at Billboards, singer’s boyfriend Travis Kelce takes the 2nd spot

The global pop star Taylor Swift has continued her streak of staying at the top of all charts. Guess who tried giving her a competition? Her boyfriend Travis Kelce. Don’t confuse it with him being a hidden talent but this one’s his first track that arrived on this chart.

Kelce’s song gave a tough competition to Taylor’s track

Taylor was this year’s Spotify's Global Top Artist and Kelce seems to have learnt some tricks from her. However, by profession, Kelce is a footballer but recently released a duet with his brother named ‘Fairytale of Philadelphia’. The track went on to earn top spots on iTunes and Billboard charts but ended up at No. 2 on the Billboard Vinyl Albums chart.

Taylor took over Travis on the vinyl chart

The Kelce brothers' version of The Poughes' classic Fairytale of New York is the vinyl version of the Philadelphia Eagles' A Philly Special Christmas album. However, Kelce's ladylove Taylor Swift with her album 1989 (Taylor's Version) stole the No. 1 spot on the chart. Swift's album remains at the top for six weeks in a row.

Taylor achieved a historic feat earlier this month by becoming the only artist ever to reign all the top five of the Billboard Vinyl Albums chart. This included her albums- 1989 (Taylor's Version), Midnights, Folklore, Speak Now (Taylor's Version) and Lover. Metallica had earned a similar feat back in February 2021.

When Taylor cheered for Travis during the Chiefs game

Taylor Swift was at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. New England Patriots game. She supported her boyfriend, and his team won with a score of 27-17. Videos from the game show Swift cheering and smiling. There's also a viral video where she had a strong reaction when her boyfriend got pushed.

It is reported that Taylor and Travis started dating earlier this year and they confirmed the same by sealing a kiss during one of Taylor’s Eras Tour.
