Several reports of Taylor Swift joining The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) with the upcoming Deadpool 3 have been doing the rounds on the internet for quite some time now. The rumours began after writer-director Shawn Levy's was seen hanging out with Miss Americana. Recently, Levy broke his silence about Swift's casting in the highly-anticipated Marvel project.

In response to the casting rumors, including those involving Jennifer Garner, Channing Tatum, and Halle Berry, Levy humorously addressed the situation. He stated, "That was just a Sunday night hang with some friends that became a lot more. I'll just say that the proliferation of Deadpool 3 casting rumors is hilarious, and also really useful because now there's no way for people to tell what's real and what's not. So I can just sit back and let the wave of accuracy and falsehood wash over me."
