The newest addition to The Exorcist franchise will debut in theatres on October 13 and will feature Ellen Burstyn returning as Chris MacNeil. The movie’s sequel, The Exorcist: Deceiver, will be released on April 18, 2025.

The Exorcist: Believer unleashes two demons
Leslie Odom Jr., Jennifer Nettles, and Norbert Leo Butz play the parents to two girls in The Exorcist: Believer. They are striving to discover what happened to their daughters, who went missing in the woods for three days without having any memory of what happened to them. The girls attempt to return to their normal lives at home, but they begin to exhibit more and more indications that they are under the influence of a demon. In order to assist two families in saving their possessed daughters, Ellen Burstyn returns as Chris MacNeil.
The original The Exorcist is based on William Peter Blatty's novel of the same name. It told the narrative of Regan (Linda Blair), a 12-year-old girl, who experiences extraordinary transformations while possessed by a demonic entity.
