Jr NTR's Devara Trailer Criticised By YouTubers, Vishwak Sen Blasts Them

Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Devara: Part 1 much-awaited trailer dropped on September 10. The two-minute trailer features an epic battle involving a hero for the people, spanning generations. As soon as the trailer was shared online, social media was flooded with enthusiastic posts from Jr NTR’s fans. On the other hand, some viewers did not like Jr NTR’s performance and criticised the tone of the film. One particular review by two YouTubers made actor Vishwak Sen angry.

YouTuber mocks Jr NTR for his upcoming film

The Instagram page Telugu Memes shared a clip from a live YouTube video by Ragadi which has now sparked online debate. In the video, the YouTubers talked about the flaws in the trailer for Devara: Part 1. 

They also speculated about a possible twist in the film, with one criticising Jr NTR's looks and noting that the shark-riding scene wasn’t impressive.

Vishwak Sen responded to a video on Instagram, saying, “Na Peru karab cheyyadanike puttadu veeedu, fist goda ki support lekunda 2 mins kurcho nuvvu, tharvatha, cinema ni, audience ni uddariddu kani. Kaaalthundhi naku kani, already kalipoyyina face needi em cheddam, nuvve matladali andham gurinchi. (This man exists to ruin my name. You first sit without taking the support of a wall for 2 minutes, later, you can discuss how to make better cinema for the audience. Just looking at your face makes me mad, so you should be the last one to talk about someone’s looks.)”

He also clarified that he believed the person he was criticising was also named Vishwak, which explains his comment.

Fans of the film and NTR are supporting Vishwak Sen, applauding him for standing up against the influencer’s negativity.

Jr NTR stars in the lead role as Varadha in the film. Saif Ali Khan portrays Bhaira, while Janhvi Kapoor plays Thangam. Three songs from the film, Fear Song, Chuttamalle, and Daavudi is composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Those songs also received mixed reviews. The first part of Devara will release in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi on September 27.
