Karavali: Makers drop new poster in the backdrop of Kambala festival on New Year’s day

The makers of Prajwal Devaraj's Karavali have dropped a new poster on the occasion of New Year 2024 which is set in the backdrop of the Kambala festival.

Sandalwood star Prajwal Devaraj who is widely known as the Dynamic Prince is gearing up for his 40th cinematic venture. Titled Karavali, this upcoming Kannada film is directed, written and produced by Gurudatha Ganiga. The movie promises a distinctive narrative set against the backdrop of Tulunadu.

The makers of Karavali have shared a thrilling poster on the occasion of New Year and fans are more than excited. For the unversed, the story of Karavali dives into the world of Kambala, a traditional sport that earned wide recognition from Rishab Shetty's Kantara. Karavali is set to be an intense action-packed story and its tagline ‘Animal vs Human’ on its first-look poster.

The recently released promo has already captivated audiences and starred Prajwal Devaraj sporting a radically different look. The movie’s visuals, evocative background score and the film's overall ambience have become the talking town for the audiences.

Gurudatha Ganiga who is known for his directorial venture Ambi Ning Vayassaytho has stepped into the director's chair once again for Karavali. This also marks a reunion for Prajwal Devaraj and Gurudatha Ganiga after the initial collaboration on the action thriller Mafia.

What is Prajwal Devaraj upto?

While Karavali takes shape, Prajwal Devaraj has other projects in the pipeline, including Gana and Mafia. His busy schedule also involves ongoing work on projects like Cheetah and Jathara.

Gurudatha Ganiga talks about Karavali and Prajwal

Recently while speaking to New Indian Express, Ganiga said, “He has never experienced such a subject. We’ll be exploring a different side of him, unexplored thus far, through Karavalli. This film will delve into the uncharted territories of Prajwal’s capabilities.” For the unversed, Karavali is being cinematographed by Abhimanyu Sadanand and the music will be scored by Sachin Basrur.
