Kateera star Darshan Thoogudeepa praises co-star Vaijanath Biradar for his performance in the film
Challenging star Darshan is all praises for the ensemble cast of the upcoming Kannada film Kateera. He, however, feels there is one among them who stands out.

Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa, better known as challenging star Darshan, is currently gearing up for the release of his next film, Kateera. Directed by Tharun Sudhir, the film features an ensemble cast led by Darshan along side Malashree’s daughters Radhana Ram and Shruthi along with Jagapathi Babu. While appreciating their work in the film, Darshan went a step ahead to appreciate the true star of the film, Vaijanath Biradar.

Darshan Thoogudeepa reveals the real star of Kateera
Darshan Thoogudeepa was recently all praises for his Kateera co-star Vaijanath Biradar. Darshan gave the full credit for how the film has shaped up to the ensemble cast of the film which also features sisters and actresses Radhana Ram and Shruthi. However, maximum credit for the final cut of the film was attributed to the 71-year old Vaijanath Biradar. Thoogudeepa stated how Biradar had outdone himself with his work in Kateera - so much so that one would need to see the film to believe it.

He said, "His performance in Kaatera is on a different level. One should need to see him on screen." Produced by Rockline Venkatesh, the film is said to be inspired from real-life events set against the backdrop of a village. Kateera is eyeing a 2024 release.
Who is Vaijanth Biradar?
Vaijanath Biradar is a veteran actor and comedian who enjoys an expansive career in Kannada cinema. Biradar has almost 500 Kannada cinemas to his name in his decorated filmography. His most well known work has been 2010 film Kanasemba Kudureyaneri, based on Amaresh Nudgoni’s short stories - the film was honoured with the National Film Award for Best Screenplay and Best Feature Film in Kannada the same year.

The actor also starred in Saikrishna Kudla’s Soombe. Other notable works include Love Training and Aliya Alla Magala Ganda.
