Sapta Sagaradaache Ello Side B Box Office Collection Day 1: Rakshit Shetty's film off to good start

Sapta Sagaradaache Ello - Side B, the second part of Rakshit Shetty-Rukmini Vasanth starrer romance saga, released in theatres yesterday. The Hemanth M. Rao directorial is estimated to collect ₹2.5 crore nett at domestic box office.

Sapta Sagaradaache Ello - Side B's day 1 collections greater than Side A film

Sapta Sagaradaache Ello - Side A, the first part of this romance, had released theatrically on September 1. Although the film had not opened particularly well at the box office, collecting nett figures of ₹1.95 crore, the film gradually benefited from a positive word of mouth both in its theatrical run and later upon its release on streaming platform. Sapta Sagaradaache Ello - Side A’s final box office collections stood at approximately ₹25.3 crore, during its 28-day run. 

Considering an opening of ₹2.5 crore, Sapta Sagaradaache Ello - Side B is looking forward to a weekend figure of 8 crores nett and estimated to collect around 15 crores by the end of its week 1 at box office. Sapta Sagaradaache Ello - Side B is reportedly made on a budget of ₹20 crore.

Sapta Sagaradaache Ello films were shot over 137 days

The two-part romance revolves around a lower middle-class couple Manu and Priya whose dreams to marry each other and settle somewhere in a coastal region are thwarted when Manu finds himself imprisoned on account of a crime committed by his employer’s son. While part A of the film series focus on Manu and Priya’s struggles to keep themselves and their relationship hopeful, part B focuses on Manu’s life post his release from prison and how his prison time possibly effects both the new chapter in his life and his relationship with Priya.

Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth play the leads in this two-part love story, essaying the roles of Manu and Priya respectively.  Sapta Sagaradaache Ello film series is written and directed by Hemanth M. Rao who has earlier made films like Kavalaudaari and Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu. Reportedly, Hemanth M Rao shot the two-part love story over a span of 137 days, and decided to release it in two parts for commercial reasons.
