Darshan, a prominent figure in the Kannada film industry (Sandalwood), was born on February 16, 1977. He is the son of the esteemed Kannada actor Thoogudeepa Srinivas. Darshan Thoogudeepa has been taken into custody in a murder case, Bengaluru Police Commissioner B Dayananda told PTI on Tuesday. The 47-year-old was picked up in connection with the murder of a man, identified as Renuka Swamy, on June 9 in Kamakshipalya area of the city, PTI reported. The police are probing to find out if the actor was directly involved in the murder or was part of the conspiracy.
