Yash won't make a cameo appearance in Prabhas starrer Salaar, reveals producer

Salaar, starring Prabhas, Shruti Haasan and Prithviraj Sukumaran, is all set to hit the theaters on December 22. While the release date of the film is nearing, buzz around the fact that Yash will make a cameo appearance in Prabhas starrer became stronger. However, the producer of the film Vijay Kiragandur has put a full stop to all such reports once and for all.

Yash won't make a cameo in Salaar: Producer

Vijay Kiragandur, who is massively promoting Salaar, in one of his promotional interviews answered the most asked question -- Will Yash make a cameo in Prabhas starrer? The producer has finally broke his silence and rubbished all such reports.

Vijay said, "Prashanth Neel already clarified that KGF and Salaar aren’t related. So, the rumors about Yash’s cameo are totally false.”

What created the buzz around Yash being a part of Salaar?

Yash, who rose to global fame after the release of his film KGF, was also directed by the same filmmaker as Salaar - Prasanth Neel. After Salaar's trailer release, fans noticed that certain props that were used in KGF, were also seen in Salaar. The buzz around the relation between the two films grew stronger after fans spotted a tank with same serial number in both films. These spotting led to believe that KGF and Salaar are part of same cinematic universe and that the actors will have a role to play in each other's films.

Salaar will be Prabhas' second release in 2023 after Om Raut directed Adipurush. The film also starred Krti Sanon, Sunny Singh, Saif Ali Khan and Devdutt Nage in important roles.
