BTS Jungkook and Jimin stick together as companion soldiers in the military, photo goes viral

BTS members Jungkook and Jimin recently began their military training after joining as companion soldiers. They kicked off their intense training after receiving a serious military talk a few days ago. New pictures from the military app show the K-pop idols dressed in military gear, holding guns, and marching. Jungkook and Jimin entered the military on December 12, 2023, following RM and V from BTS.

Jungkook and Jimin's photos from military goes viral

Fans are super proud seeing Jungkook and Jimin taking on their military training. The photos reveal them alongside other trainees, with numbers 59 for Jungkook and 60 for Jimin. These two decided to train together, sticking with the buddy system throughout their basic training at the same center.

In some pictures, Jimin is seen studying a training handbook, his number displayed on his helmet. And there's more excitement as photos capture Jungkook and Jimin actively participating in various training exercises.

Talking about the companion soldier system, they're doing this arrangement suggested by Jin, where both singers will finish their basic training together at the same place. After that, they'll stay together on the base while serving their military duty at the same time. But the catch is, this means they can't apply to different branches of the military, like the Air Force or Navy, while doing this.

BTS members commence their military service

In recent news, both Jimin and Jungkook commenced their mandatory military service, beginning with a five-week basic training at an army boot camp. Ahead of his departure, Jimin assured fans during a livestream on Weverse that he aims to do his best and expressed reliance on Jungkook's support throughout their enlistment.

Earlier this year, BTS members J-Hope and Suga began their military service, followed by recent enlistments of RM and V. Notably, Jin initiated his military duty in December of the previous year, marking a collective commitment among the BTS members to fulfill their obligations in South Korea's military service.
