BTS members Jungkook and Jimin enlisted in the South Korean army on December 12. Amid their service, new photos of the two have in their military uniforms have surfaced online. Although it was previously stated that new or exclusive photos of BTS members would not be released due to intellectual property rights issues with HYBE, it appears that this restriction does not apply to group photos.

Recent photos show Jungkook and Jimin, who have enlisted in the military through the companion soldiers program and are expected to train together, possibly under the supervision of the oldest member, Jin. The photos show them posing side by side. Despite the fact that Jungkook's face was mostly hidden, his distinct facial features were visible. Meanwhile, Jimin maintained a calm and gentle demeanor while holding his head high. Meanwhile, Jungkook had one hand on Jimin's shoulder.

The Camp, a website that allows family members and soldiers to communicate, had previously removed BTS from their 'Star Soldier list.' This action was taken in response to a sudden surge in traffic on the website, which caused it to crash, resulting in a legal dispute with BTS' management company. Not only were BTS members affected, but idols from other major management companies were also removed due to BIGHIT MUSIC's concerns about intellectual property rights.

BTS’ V and RM new military pictures go viral

A few photos of RM and V posing with their respective military units surfaced online on social media. On January 4 KST, the Nonsan Training Center released another batch of recruit group photos. V was seen wearing the platoon leader tag in the first set of images released last week, but in the most recent set, RM stands out with the blue tag over his shoulder. Notably, V has chosen to conceal the lower half of his face in these new photos.

The coveted blue tag in the South Korean army denotes an elite soldier, honed to exceptional skill in areas such as marksmanship and fitness. Earning this title in the South Korean military is a mark of honour, given only to the most skilled troops after rigorous training.
