BTS Suga Drunk Driving Case: BTS member Suga is currently making headlines for the recent case of drunk driving. This has led to a huge uproar and the rapper was even called for questioning regarding the case. Amidst this, he has received support from ARMYs and fellow colleagues, singer PSY and Pachinko actress Park Sohee.

PSY, Pachinko actress Park Sohee extend support to BTS Suga

Singer PSY, while wrapping up his 2024 Summer Swag concert series at Suwon World Cup Stadium, gave a shout out to Suga. He said, “I'm incredibly thankful to Suga for creating and singing this song with me."

Pachinko actress Park Sohee took to X to share a photo of Suga and accompanied it with a purple heart, which is closely associated with BTS.

Suga pens an apology letter

In the post shared on BTS’ Weverse page, Suga issued a handwritten apology over the DUI case. “I would like to ashamedly apologise once again. I sincerely apologise for the disappointment that my misbehavior has caused to my fans and those who have shown me love. I have made a big mistake and have forgotten my responsibility to repay everyone with actions worthy of the amount of love that I have received," he wrote.

He added, "On August 6, I made the mistake of driving an electric scooter on the sidewalk after drinking. Also, I am sorry for the confusion I caused following my first apology I hastily posted on August 7. I should have thought more deeply about my actions and have been more careful, but I did not."

Details of Suga’s DUI case

Reports emerged on August 7, that BTS member Suga was involved in a DUI incident. On August 6, he fell off an electric scooter outside his residence, Nine One Hannam, a luxury complex in Hannam-dong.

A patrolling officer who attended the scene noticed signs of alcohol on Suga and took him to the police station for investigation. It was later discovered that his blood alcohol level was 0.227%, prompting further scrutiny. Now, the case is under investigation.
