Business Proposal Star Seol In-ah Reveals Her Struggle With Insomnia: Took Sleeping Pills
South Korean actress Seol In-ah, best known for her role in drama Business Proposal, shared how she how insomnia affected her life.
Korean News: South Korean drama Business Proposal which was premiered in 2022 is still one of the most watched and loved series on OTT. Recently, actress Seol In-ah from the series has opened up about her health issue and the impact on her.
Seol In-ah’s struggle with Insomnia
As per report, in a programme names Iron Girls, Seol In-ah revealed she struggled immensely with insomnia and skin-related side effects from sleeping pills. She also said that over a period of five years she grew dependant on them to get proper rest at night.
She furthermore revealed that it took efforts to quit taking pills, as it started affecting her professional life. Sometimes, Seol has also gone without sleeping for three-four days at stretch.
Seol In-ah said, “It made me so upset that I was being ‘put’ to sleep by these sleeping pills. And I thought maybe I was not exhausted enough, so I pushed myself to stay busy. I put my body through a lot on purpose. That somehow made people believe I’m diligent and I like pursuing an active lifestyle. But no, I would say it was all for sleep. I moved more so I could sleep more. I found it ironic that I was given a ‘healthy, active girl’ reputation, when I don’t personally think I was ever that healthy to begin with. My goal [with this program] is to actually become healthier."
In addition, she said the sleeping pills completly messed up with her immune system. “I had to see doctors at big hospitals…Eventually, I was told to take 24 pills a day to alleviate the symptoms I had all over my skin,” she added.

Seol In-ah is renowned South Korean actress made her acting debut in 2015, in which she played a minor role in The Producers and Flowers of the Prison in 2016.
