EXO Suho Admits Being Embarrassed About Liking BLACKPINK Jisoo's Photo

Suho is the leader of the South Korean-Chinese boy group Exo and its sub-unit Exo-K. He debuted as a soloist on March 30, 2020, with the release of his extended play Self-Portrait. Suho recently returned from his military training and made his comeback mini album 1 to 3. He is currently on his first-ever solo world tour SU: HOME during which he revealed a fun reason why he did not like BLACKPINK’s Jisoo’s viral Instagram photo.

Suho explains he got confused

On August 4, 2024, EXO’s Suho joined Lee Seung Yoon on the Bibim Pop podcast. During the episode, the host asked Suho about a time he felt too embarrassed to like an Instagram post.

Furthermore, Suho mentioned that he enjoys Instagram, both viewing other people’s posts and curating his own. He recounted coming across a photo of a K-pop star at the Palace of Versailles while scrolling through Instagram.

Suho explained that taking a good photo there is challenging due to the crowd; one can either blur out people or post the picture as it is. The photo he saw gave the impression that the K-pop star had rented the entire Palace of Versailles, which shocked him. Later in the conversation, Suho revealed that the photo featured BLACKPINK’s Jisoo at the Palace of Versailles.

The host and everyone pushed Suho to accept he wanted to hit like on Jisoo’s Palace of Versailles photo but couldn’t “due to embarrassment”. He admitted that it was shocking to see a foreign singer rent the palace, which made him feel like hitting the like button. Later, Suho mentioned he would like the photo after the show, and he did so.

Dating speculations rise

Suho's Instagram activity led to heavy speculation about dating rumours involving Jisoo. This isn’t the first time such speculations have risen. In October 2019, netizens found a series of suspicious details suggesting a relationship between Jisoo and Suho. 

Both posted photos from the same locations in France and Korea on Instagram. However, neither Jisoo nor Suho addressed these “evidence” directly. After the incident, this was the first time he mentioned something about her.
