First photos of BTS RM, BTS V from military enlistment, now out

BTS fans have a new surprise awaiting them before 2023 comes to a close. Fans of the South Korean boy band have been waiting for all members of BTS to serve their mandatory military enlistment periods before all seven can wholly reunite as a group. Amid the wait, first photos of two of BTS' most loved K-pop idols, BTS RM and BTS V have made it to social media, giving fans a glimpse of their time in enlistment.

BTS RM and BTS V's military enlistment photos now out

BTS RM and BTS V enrolled for their military enlistment on December 11 at the Nonsan Training Centre to finish their basic training. Photos of the two in the midst of their training have now made their way on to the internet where they are receiving immense love from fans. The photos show RM and V assuming a serious stance along side their squad comrades.

Additionally, BTS V's uniform carried an evident blue tag on it, the meaning behind which was being speculated by many. Reportedly, the blue tag implies V's appointment as a platoon leader of the training soldiers, the second-highest level for a regiment. While the particulars about BTS RM's basic training are yet to be revealed, BTS V is transferring to the Special Task Force of the Army's Capital Defence Command, an elite organisation in the South Korean Military.

BTS is looking at a complete reunion in the distant future

December 2023 itself saw BTS members Jungkook, Jimin and V embark on their mandatory military enlistments. While all seven members have been pursuing their musical careers in an individual capacity, group activities for BTS have been put on a hold due the absence of multiple members at any given point of time.

BTS is looking at a group reunion from which point they will resume their group activities, in 2025.
