HyunA joins ex-boyfriend DAWN's agency AT AREA prior to comeback, fans speculate a reunion

HyunA recently saw through the release of her latest single. The single holds special significance for the South Korean singer, songwriter and rapper, owing to the fact that it marks her comeback. The single - titled ATTITUDE - was officially released on November 6. As per an OSEN report, HyunA has taken a major decision with regards to her career that coincides with her comeback. This news is with regards to her agency which HyunA has decided to switch.

HyunA and DAWN now share the same agency

As per a Soompi report, HyunA and DAWN will now be managed by the same agency. The official statement by the agency, AT AREA, confirmed that an official contract had been signed with HyunA. The spokesperson said, "We recently signed an exclusive contract with HyunA.” 

The cincher in this major career move on HyunA's part, is the fact that AT AREA is also DAWN's agency. DAWN is also a South Korean rapper, singer and songwriter. The agency statement also addressed the speculations regarding the former partners being handled by them. It was clarified by AT AREA that HynA's personal equation with DAWN was not a factor in the decision making process.The spokesperson added, "(HyunA’s) private matters with DAWN were not considered in the slightest. We placed focus only on HyunA’s capabilities and presence as an artist."

HyunA and DAWN's relationship timeline

As per reports, HyunA and DAWN began seeing each other in 2016. They went public with their relationship in 2018 - something which caused them to be ousted from their then agency, Cube Entertainment. They next joined PSY's agency P Nation together before opting out of it in 2022. The duo got engaged in February of 2022 also sharing the news officially on Instagram.

In November however, HyunA formally announced their break up. She said, "We broke up. We decided to remain as good friends and colleagues from now on. Thank you always for your support and for looking over us fondly."
