K-pop singer Nahee dies at 24, her last Instagram post goes viral

Korean singer-songwriter Nahee died at the age of 24, as reported by Multiple news outlets on Wednesday. The reason behind her sudden death has not yet been explained yet. Additionally, neither her family nor her agency has made any official statement regarding her death. However, her funeral is reportedly scheduled for this Friday in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province.

Nahee’s last Instagram post 

Fans couldn't help but notice her last Instagram post as word of her passing spread across the internet. It's interesting to note that the post was shared just hours before her death on November 7. She posted a selfie in a winter coat, facing directly into the camera. 

Additionally, she posted a video of a train ride at dusk. Her other images were adorable portraits of her small dog. Condolence messages were posted in abundance in the comments section by fans. Some even went so far as to lament the dog who, in their words, “lost his mama.”

Nahee’s career trajectory 

Nahee is a singer-songwriter and producer who signed with the agency Mun Hwa In in September 2020. She is recognized with 15 Korea Music Copyright Association (KOMCA) credits and has a sizable fan base despite having only a four-year career. 

The singer-songwriter also uploaded famous song covers to her YouTube channel; the most recent one was of New Jeans' ASAP. In addition, she was quite active on Instagram, sharing vlogs, song covers, and other glimpses into her private life. Also, she frequently shared videos and images of her dog on social media. All of these posts were archived recently, leaving only her last post on her handle.
