Recently, the film dropped character posters that offered an exciting glimpse into this action-packed blockbuster, which promises to be a harmonious blend of familiar faces and new characters with unique abilities. Scheduled for release on November 8, The Marvels brings together a trio of heroes and their trusty sidekicks, setting the stage for an epic adventure.

Park Seo Joon looks fierce in new character poster

Adding an international flair to the lineup, Park Seo Joon joins The Marvels as Prince Yann. His presence suggests a special connection with Captain Marvel and sparks anticipation for his significant role in the film.

Although Marvel Studios has not officially disclosed Park Seo-joon's character, reports suggest that he may portray Prince Yan. In the MCU, Prince Yan is the leader of a musical planet where residents communicate through song. This character made his debut in Marvel Comics' Captain Marvel #9 (2014) as the Prince of Aladna, a world where rhyming speech is the norm.

The Marvel-ous lineup

Brie Larson returns as Carol Danvers, also known as Captain Marvel. Her poster exudes indomitable strength, with a steely gaze and powerful posture. Teyonah Parris portrays Monica Rambeau, the daughter of Maria Rambeau. Monica's poster teases the super abilities she's poised to reveal, adding an exciting new dimension to the superhero lineup. Iman Vellani steps into the role of Ms. Marvel, also known as Kamala Khan. This teenage hero and ardent Captain Marvel fan promises a fresh perspective and relatable qualities that will endear her to audiences.

Samuel L. Jackson reprises his role as Nick Fury, Captain Marvel's trusted friend and colleague. Fury's inclusion in the posters adds depth to the storyline and hints at the challenges this superhero team may face. For those who fell in love with Goose, the lovable cat-like alien from the first Captain Marvel film. Goose is set to return, and this time, he brings along a host of other Flerkens for company.

Park Seo-Joon's look reminds fans of his Hwarang days

After the trailer was released, Park Seo-joon's fans made him trend on X, formerly known as Twitter. They were quick to notice the resemblance between his look in The Marvels and Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth. Fans also said how the actor gave similar vibes as he did in the K-Drama. For the unversed, in Hwarang, Park played the role of Moo-myung, a young warrior. He sported sleek long hair in the historical drama.

Apart from that, fans also praised him for his look in the actor's Hollywood debut. The Marvels is directed by Nia DaCosta and stars Brie Larson, Teyonah Parris and Iman Vellani, Monica Rambeau and Kamala Khan in key roles.
