The findings of the Hema Committee Report have jolted Mollywood and the all other film industries. The resignation comes after some members of the body were accused of sexual abuse. As per reports, actor Jagadish was supposed to take the post of general secretary post after actor Siddique stepped aside after facing allegations of sexual abuse. In their official statement, the film body assured that a new governance cell would be set up in two months. In the statement, the AMMA also expressed gratitude to the Hema Committee for ‘pointing out their errors’.
