Malayalam actor Nirmal Benny, who is known for his role in Amen, died at 37 due to a heart attack.
Malayalam actor, Nirmal Benny, died due to a heart attack at the young age of 37, confirms producer Sanjay Padiyoor. He died in the wee hours of Friday, August 23. The late actor was known for his role in the movie Amen, starring Fahadh Faasil.
Sanjay Padiyoor pays tribute to Nirmal Benny
Taking to his Instagram handle, Sanjay shared an emotional post bidding farewell to his dear friend with a heavy heart. He wrote in Malayali which we loosely translated to English, "Farewell to a dear friend with a heavy heart.... Nirmal was the central character of the movie Kochacha in Amen Nirmal... The death was due to a heart attack this morning..... Praying to the Almighty that the soul of my dear friend should rest in eternal peace."
Who was Nirmal Benny?
The late actor began his career as a comedian and soon gained recognition through YouTube videos and stage performances. In 2012, he made his acting debut with Navagatharkku Swagatham. He has appeared in five movies, including Amen and Dooram.
