Divya Prabha shared a video a day after filing a formal police complaint against the passenger who allegedly harassed her on an Air India flight.

Malayalam actress Divya Prabha recently accused her co-passenger on a flight of harassment. The actress stated that she reported the incident to the airline staff but no appropriate action was taken other than changing her seat. Now, she has released another video explaining the matter in detail, urging concerned authorities to take action.

Divya Prabha releases first video after harassment incident 

Divya Prabha took to her Instagram handle on Thursday, a day after filing a formal police complaint against the passenger who allegedly harassed her and talked about the case in detail.  The actress explained that another person sat in her seat on her flight from Mumbai to Kochi on October 9. She claimed that the accused was drunk and started arguing with her in spite of telling him that it was her seat that he was sitting in.

Divya further said that the passenger was behaving disrespectfully and the Air India staff didn't do anything about it other than changing her seat. She filed a formal complaint against the accused after landing in Kerala and is now waiting for some kind of action against the person. The actress concluded by adding, “Hopefully this clears things up and justice prevails.” 

Police respond to Divya Prabha’s complaint 

Meanwhile, Nedumbassery police officer had told PTI that they got an email from Divya demanding it to be considered as her formal complaint.

"We are looking into the matter. We are trying to contact her to collect more details regarding the incident. However, we are yet to get her on the phone," said the officer. No case has been registered so far, and further actions will be decided after contacting her, he added.
