Filmmaker Tharun Moorthy announces his next project with Binu Pappu

On the occasion of New Year 2024, Malayalam filmmaker Tharun Moorthy treated his fans with the announcement of his next big project. The director is well known for helming films titled Operation Java and Saudi Vellakkar among others. Surprisingly, the upcoming movie helmed by Tharun Moorthy will be scripted by Binu Pappu. Binu has earlier played prominent roles in the filmmaker's previous two directorials.

Filmmaker Tharun Moorthy took to his social media handle to announce his next yet-to-be titled movie. The director shared a note that read, "Happy New Year! 2020 new year marked the announcement of the movie Operation Java. So I guess a new years day would be most auspicious to announce a new beginning. Pre production works of my new film are about to begin. Far from usual, the screen would not appear with "Written and Directed by". Instead Written by Binu Pappu and Directed by Tharun Moorthy will be displayed."
Tharun explains how the discussion of the film started
In the same post, he explained how it all started. His note further read, "It all started from the discussion to do Java 2 during the post-production time of Saudi Vellakka. The conversation prolonged to a story plot. It took an unexpected turn when Binu chettan ended the narration, I could not resist myself from asking if I could do this subject; asked him to be the writer!!That conversation is turning its way into a cinema…”
His note continued, "Ashiq Usman, who produces quality films in South India invited us to work together after watching Operation Java and this movie became the part of this discussion. This is what we believe in, fate. We cant wait to explore an area we haven't explored before! The pre production works to deliver new visual treat for the audience is on a start. So ASHIQ USMAN PRESENTS, WRITTEN BY BINU PAPPU, DIRECTED BY THARUN MOORTHY."

Keeping the details of cast and crew under wraps, he concluded, "I can't express my excitement about my desk of actors and technicians. I've heard and read of many casting scenarios from online friends and cinephiles. Let it do its thing. BUT I'M DAMN SURE, WE WILL STARTLE YOU GUYS THATS OUR GAME PLAN. GAME ON. #2024."
