Popular actor Nivin Pauly has finally collaborated with director Dijo Jose Antony for the eagerly awaited film Malayalee From India. The announcement video of the same was released on Christmas Day and offered a glimpse into the movie's fascinating plot and engaging narrative.

The teaser kicks off with a witty exchange between a producer and director Dijo Jose Antony, transitioning to the director revealing the film's storyline at the gym. Key characters, played by Dhyan Sreenivasan, Manu Pillai, and Anaswara Rajan, take centre stage in this venture which is expected to be a unique blend of comedy, romance, and music with a touch of social relevance.

Malayalee From India is scripted by Sharis Mohammed and features Sudeep Elamon as the Director of Photography. The musical score has been crafted by Jakes Bejoy and Sreejith Sarang in charge of editing. The movie has been bankrolled by Nivin's Pauly Jr Pictures and Listin Stephen's Magic Frames and has an extended cast of Malayalee From India including Shine Tom Chacko, Salim Kumar and Vijayakumar.

Director Dijo's previous directorial ventures include Queen (2018) and the acclaimed political satire Jana Gana Mana (2022). Further in his kitty, Nivin Pauly has the Tamil film Yezhu Kadal Yezhu Malai directed by Ram in his kitty. The movie features Anjali and Soori in pivotal roles.

Akhil Sathyan, who made his directorial debut with this one shared that Nivin Pauly was his original choice to play Pachu (Prasanth) which eventually featured Fahadh Faasil. Speaking to Onmanorama, Akhil said that Nivin Pauly being busy with Thuramukham made the movie fall in Fahadh’s kitty.

He added that even the decision to replace him was a conscious one with everyone involved actively in the process.
