Mohanlal starrer Malaikottai Vaaliban teaser out on THIS date

Malaikottai Vaaliban has easily been one of Mohanlal's most awaited projects. The period drama now appears to be well on its way to release, with an official announcement for the teaser release date being made by the makers of the film. Mohanlal, who will lead the ambitious project, also confirmed the news on his social media handle.

Malaikottai Vaaliban teaser to be out soon

Mohanlal is all set to kickstart his year at the box office with Malaikottai Vaaliban scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on January 25 2024. Prior to this, an official teaser for the film will be released, the date for which was officially announced by the makers. Century Films, the production house that has bankrolled the massive project, shared an official poster for the film along with setting December 6 as the date for Malaikottai Vaaliban's teaser release. The teaser will come out at 5 PM. 

The caption to the post read, "The count down begins….stay tuned for the most awaited teaser release on 6th December @ 5 PM IST" Mohanlal too confirmed the news through his official Instagram handle, asking his fans to continue watching this space for future updates.

Malaikottai Vaaliban has a rather acclaimed team helming the project. The film has been directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery whose film Jallikattu (2019) was India's official entry for the 93rd Academy Awards, in the best international feature category. The screenplay has been written by PS Rafique with cinematography being done by Madhu Neelakandan, the latter of whom Pellissery has collaborated with on Churuli.

The film has largely been shot in Rajasthan with some key sequences being shot in Chennai and Pondicherry. Besides Mohanlal, the film also stars Sonalee Kulkarni, Katha Nandi and Hareesh Peradi among others.
