Neru on OTT: When and where to watch Mohanlal’s courtroom drama after its theatrical run

Mohanlal starrer Neru made its theatrical debut on Thursday, December 21. While the makers are yet to see how it performs at the box office, they have already locked the OTT streaming platform for the movie. According to reports, the Jeethu Joseph directorial will be available to watch on Disney+ Hotstar by the end of January. 

Neru to stream on Disney+ Hotstar? 

According to OTTPlay reports, Neru will have an over-the-top (OTT) release on Disney+ Hotstar, following its theatrical run. Like most recent Malayalam releases, the Mohanlal starrer is anticipated to be available for streaming on the well-known digital platform precisely one month following its theatrical debut. The courtroom drama's OTT rights were purchased by Disney+ Hotstar for an astounding sum, according to sources close to the Jeethu Joseph film.

The official OTT release date, time, and other details of Neru are expected to be revealed in a couple of weeks, with an official update from the makers and Disney+ Hotstar. However, it is safe to assume that the Mohanlal starrer, which is touted to be an emotional courtroom drama, might get released on the streaming platform mostly by the last week of January, or the first week of February 2024.

Neru starring Mohanlal, Priyamani, Anaswara Rajan, and Siddique is a movie about a blind sculptor who seeks justice after suffering trauma. It is described as an emotional courtroom drama. The movie is 2 hours and 30 minutes long and has a cast of nine actors.

Besides Neru, Mohanlal has a whooping seven big banner projects lined up in front of him, each of which is in various stages of development. Post Neru, Mohanlal has Malaikottai Vaaliban and Barroz: Guardian of D'Gamma's Treasure, lined up for release, both of which are completed. Besides this, the actor is simultaneously filming for Ram: Part 1, Vrushubha, Kannappa, L2: Empuraan and Ram: Part 2.
