Premam co-stars Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi gear up for their next Malayalam film Thaaram

Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi are all set to professionally collaborate, once again. The two have previously starred together in 2015 Malayalam film Premam and will soon be embarking on their next project together. This on-screen reunion comes after a gap of eight years.

Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi to star in new project

Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi are reportedly gearing up to be seen together on-screen once again. The two have reportedly been brought on board for the Malayalam film, Thaaram. The film will be directed by Vinay Govind with Vivek Ranjith penning the screenplay. Not just Pauly and Pallavi's reunion, Thaaram also marks the reunion of Govind with Ranjith, making this their third collaboration after 2013 action comedy Kili Poyi and 2015 comedy thriller Kohinoor. 

Thaaram will be bankrolled by Listyn Stephen and Polly Junior Pictures under the Magic Frames banner. Besides Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi, the film will also feature Vinay Fort, Nikhila Vimal, Kayadu Lohar, Krishna Shankar, and Namitha Krishnamurthy in key roles. Set among the locales of Manali, Thaaram has reportedly already locked in a release date of December 16.

What is next for Nivin Pauly and Sai Pallavi?

Nivin Pauly recently revealed that two of his upcoming projects are reportedly slated to be held by director Vineeth. First of these two is Varshangalkku Shesham which will also feature Hridayam fame pair Pranav Mohanlal and Kalyani Priyadarshan. The only details about the second project is that it will reportedly star Mohanlal.

Sai Pallavi on the other hand, was recently in the news for declining to star in the Ragahva Lawrence led, Chandramukhi 2 - the titular role eventually went to Kangana Ranaut. The actress however, has a long lineup of projects comprising of Thandel, D51, Ramayana, SK21, and Pushpa: The Rule.
