Tovino Thomas wraps up shoot of Nadikar Thilakam after many hurdles and travelling to 30 locations

Tovino Thomas' ambitious project, Nadikar Thilakam, has concluded filming. The film, which has been three years in the making, is now eyeing a 2024 release. Director Jean Lal, recently shared montages from their final moments on the sets of the film, also sharing an expansive note tracing their 3-year long journey.

It's a wrap for Nadikar Thilakam

Director Jean Lal took to his social media handle to share glimpses of the cast and crew of Nadikar Thilakam's final moments on set. Accompanying the photos was a note expressing his gratitude for every artist and technician involved in the film over the three year long period and thirty locations wide - including Dubai and Hyderabad to Kashmir, Munnar, and Kochi - filming schedules. 

Excerpts from the note read, "As we wrap up the incredible journey of creating NADIKAR THILAKAM, we want to express our deepest gratitude to every artist and technician involved in this project. Over three years, we embarked on a thrilling adventure, shooting across 30 unique locations—from Dubai and Hyderabad to Kashmir, Munnar, and Kochi..." The note further detailed that while there were many hurdles along the way, the team braved them as a unit to finally make it to the finish line for Nadikar Thilakam.

What is Nadikar Thilakam about?

Since its first poster releases, it has been evident that Nadikar Thilakam would feature Tovino Thomas in an edgy, out of the box character. Director Jean Lal's note also carried further insight about the film's context - namely, a meta take on the entertainment industry itself, referring to the experience as "enchanting" and filled with "magic". 

An excerpt from the note read, "This cinematic voyage offers a peek into the enchanting world of an actor in cinema, showcasing the magic and charm that fills our industry." The note also revealed that an official first look poster from the film, was on its way to the audience.
