Unni Mukundan kicked off the shooting of his next film Jai Ganesh on November 11. On Thursday morning, the makers unveiled the first look of the film along with the release date. The poster hints at a power-packed storyline, signalling a tale of resilience and determination.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter) Unni Mukundan shared photos featuring the actor in a wheelchair while looking at the back with an intense look. In the caption, he wrote, "Drive. Thrive. Survive. Presenting the first look of #JaiGanesh!" He added, "In theatres, Summer 2024!"
Soon after he shared the poster, the excited fans flooded the comment section. A user wrote, "Impossible to possible... Really unexpected and thrilling.... You made it man." Another wrote, "Awesome," while others wished him as he kickstarted the journey.
Inside Jai Ganesh's muhurat puja
A few days ago on November 10, the director Ranjith Sankar along with the cast and crew came together for the puja ahead of the filming. Taking to Instagram, the Masterpiece actor shared photos in which they can be seen lighting lamps and celebrating the moment with the cast and crew. He captioned the post as "Om Ganeshaya Namah".

Apart from Unni Mukundan, the film also stars Mahima Nambiar in the lead role. With this film, Jomol is set to make his big screen comeback after the 2017 film Careful. In the film, she will be playing the role of a criminal lawyer. It also stars Hareesh Peradi, Ashokan, Ravindra Vijay and Nandu as supporting characters.
Unni Mukundan's role in the film is said to be one of the most challenging characters he has played so far. The film has been billed as a superhero movie revolving around realms of reality and imagination. Chandru Selvaraj will be responsible for cinematography while Shankar Sharma will be composing the music for the film.
