Movies Releasing In Theatres This Week: The Buckingham Murders, Tumbbad, Speak No Evil And More
From the Telugu comedy film Mathu Vadalara 2 to Hollywood release Speak No Evil, here are the new titles arriving in theatres this weekend.
This weekend will see some eagerly awaited movies hitting the big screens. Fans of Bollywood, Hollywood and South movies are in for a treat as some new and old releases will leave you excited. Check out what movies you can look forward to in the cinema halls this weekend.
The Buckingham Murders
Directed by Hansal Mehta, The Buckingham Murders is billed as an “atmospheric thriller”. The film had its world premiere at the 67th BFI London Film Festival and will hit the big screens on September 13. It will be released in Hindi dubbed version and its original Hinglish version.
Tumbbad
Directed by Rahi Anil Barve, Tumbbad, starring Sohum Shah, premiered in the critics' week section at the 75th Venice International Film Festival in 2018. Set in a Maharashtra village, the Hindi film explores Vinayak Rao's (Shah) descent into greed and obsession as he seeks out a mythical treasure guarded by the malevolent entity Hastar. The horror film will re-release on September 13.
Speak No Evil
Speak No Evil is an American psychological horror thriller film written and directed by James Watkins. It is a remake of the 2022 Danish film of the same name. The film stars James McAvoy in the leading role. he is receiving praise for his performance in the film.
Mathu Vadalara 2
The first part of the Mathu Vadalara franchise was a surprise hit. The Telugu crime comedy had Sri Simha and Satya in the main roles. This time, Faria Abdullah has joined them. The three will provide a lot of fun with their comic antics.
