2023 marked the OTT debuts of several actors. Stars like Kareena Kapoor, Shahid Kapoor and others made their debut with movies and web series which premiered on OTT in 2023. Take a look at the actors who appeared on OTT platforms for the first time. 

Anil Kapoor in The Night Manager 

Anil Kapoor starred in The Night Manager which was released in February this year. Based on an English web series with the same name, the show streaming on Disney Plus Hotstar. Kapoor plays the role of villain Shailendra Rungta in the show. 

Aditya Roy Kapoor in The Night Manager

The Night Manager also marked the debut of Aditya Roy Kapoor. The actor played the titular character in the series which marked his maiden show. He plays the role of Shaan Sengupta. 

Kareena Kapoor in Jaane Jaan

Kareena Kapoor played the lead role in the mystery thriller Jaane Jaan. The film was released in September on Netflix. The movie is directed by Sujoy Ghosh and also stars Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Varma. 

Shahid Kapoor in Farzi 

The crime thriller series Farzi marked the maiden OTT project for Shahid Kapoor. The actor played the role of a con artist dedicated to crafting flawless counterfeit currency notes. The series also featured Vijay Sethupathi. 

Sonakshi Sinha in Dahaad 

Dabangg fame Sonakshi Sinha also made her debut on OTT this year. The actress headlined the web series Dahaad, in which she features as a policewoman. The series is streaming on Amazon Prime Video. 

Rajkummar Rao in Guns and Gulaabs 

Guns and Gulaabs marked the OTT debut of both Rajkummar Rao and Dulquer Salmaan. The series is a Netflix original. 

Varun Dhawan in Bawaal 

Varun Dhawan starrer Bawaal also premiered direct to digital. The actor featured in the film alongside Jahnvi Kapoor. The movie is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.
