The makers of Do Patti, starring Kriti Sanon and Kajol, have finally unveiled the trailer on Monday, October 14. Helmed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, the movie stars Kriti in a double role while Kajol is a cop, who has to resolve a twisted tale of love, rivalry, lies and crime.

The trailer opens up with a pan shot of Kajol and Shaheer Sheikh (love interest of Kriti) being questioned about an incident. The next few frames introduce Kajol as a fierce cop who doesn't shy away from fighting for truth. As the trailer continues, it introduces one of Kriti's characters, who falls in love with Shaheer, but little did she know that her life will turn upside down with the entry of her twin highly fashionable and bold sister. What follows next is the twin trying to voo Shaheer and taunting her sister for not being able to handle her husband.

In the next frame, one of Kriti's characters is shown crying and alleging that Shahher tried to kill him. The trailer teases complex characters who blur the line between law and justice, right and wrong. This trailer promises an intense ride through deception and mystery.

Netflix's Instagram page has also shared the trailer with the caption "Do Patti ke iss khel mein har sach ke peeche ek jhoot hai."

What else do we know about Do Patti?

This marks Kriti's debut as a producer, under her banner Blue Butterfly Films. She has co-produced it with writer Kanika Dhillon. It also stars Tanvi Azmi, Brijendra Kala, Vivek Mushran and Prachee Shah Paandya in supporting roles. The movie is slated to premiere on Netflix on October 25.
