The Tamil action drama film Leo is all set to get its digital premiere. After a successful theatrical run, the film will be made available to stream online spoon. Directed by Lokesh Kanagraj, the film hit the big screens on October 19 and will premiere digitally almost a month after release.
Leo available on OTT soon
With a new trailer, Netflix unveiled the release date of the Thalapathy Vijay starrer film Leo’s digital premiere. The movie will begin streaming in India on November 24. The streaming platform announced the digital premiere with the caption, “Oru Badass oda entry ku time vandachu. Naa Ready! Neenga ready ah? (The wait is finally over!! We have some Bloody Sweet news for you. Naa Ready! Are you?)🤩”
The film released in India on November 24. However, globally the movie will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada from November 28. After Master, Leo is Thalapathy Vijay and filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj's second joint project. With key roles for Vijay, Trisha, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Sarja, Mysskin, Sandy, and Gautham Menon, the action entertainer boasts an ensemble cast. In supporting parts were Mathew Thomas, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, and a few more.
Leo’s performance at box office
Leo created a history at the box office and shattered several records. The film raked in ₹339.85 crore in its 32-day theatrical run. The Tamil version of the movie alone amassed a total of ₹270.11 crore in domestic collections. With the mammoth collection, the film became the highest-grossing movie of Vijay’s career.

Worldwide the movie has stirred a storm by collecting more than ₹600 crore. The film became the third-ever Tamil movie to achieve the feat after Rajinikanth starrer Jailer and 2.0. The action-packed entertainer is the fifth film directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj after Maanagaram, Kaithi, Master, and Vikram, and the third film in his ambitious Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) after Kaithi and Master. The filmmaker has plans to extend his universe with the sequels of the three films.
