Christmas is about to get a whole lot "merrier and a tad bit mischievous" as The Heist Before Christmas gears up for its release on December 24, 2023. The film will be available on Sky Max. Ahead of the film's release, the makers dropped its trailer on Friday.
The Heist Before Christmas promises to be a rollercoaster ride of laughter
The trailer of The Heist Before Christmas introduces us to Mikey Collins, a twelve-year-old who, despite being dirt-poor and harbouring a dislike for Christmas, stumbles upon not one but two Santa Clauses in the woods. However, this is no ordinary encounter. One Santa, played by James Nesbitt, has just pulled off a bank heist and is on the run with a hefty sum of cash. The other, portrayed by Timothy Spall, claims to have fallen out of his sleigh.
Mikey, portrayed as a character with little patience for Christmas cheer, is more interested in the bank robber's loot than the festive spirit. Convinced that the stolen cash is the key to giving his family the Christmas they long for, Mikey sets off on a daring quest. Little does he know that this escapade will lead him to a realisation that perhaps the spirit of Christmas is alive and well. Packed with hilarious antics and reminiscent of classic fight sequences from films like Home Alone, this Christmas adventure promises to bring a smile to both the grinning and the grumpy alike.
