OTT Releases This Week: CTRL, The Tribe, The Signature And More To Binge-Watch

Sunday is here, and so is our list of OTT titles releasing in the first week of October 2024. From Ananya Panday starrer CTRL and Anupam Kher's The Signature to Alanna Panday's The Tribe, check out the complete list of movies and web series releasing on various streaming giants this week. 

Salem’s Lot

A supernatural horror film directed by Gary Dauberman is based on the 1975 novel of the same name by Stephen King. The film stars Lewis Pullman, Makenzie Leigh, Bill Camp, Pilou Asbæk, Alfre Woodard, and William Sadler. It is the first feature film adaptation of the book after the previous miniseries versions from 1979 and 2004. The plot centres on a writer who returns to his hometown of Jerusalem's Lot in search of inspiration, only to discover the presence of a vampire. The movie will premiere on Max on October 3.

CTRL

Nella and Joe are the perfect influencer couple. But when he cheats on her, she turns to an AI app to erase him from her life — until it takes control. Helmed by Vikramaditya Motwane and Avinash Sampath, the movie stars Ananya Panday, Vihaan Samat and Devika Vatsa in the lead roles. The movie will premiere on Netflix on October 4.

The Signature

Directed by Gajendra Ahire, the film stars Anupam Kher, Mahima Chaudhry, Neena Kulkarni, Annu Kapoor and Ranvir Shorey in the pivotal roles. It is a Hindi adaptation of the National Award-winning 2013 Marathi film Anumati, which originally starred Vikram Gokhale. The film marks a comeback for actress Mahima, who was last seen in Dark Chocolate in 2016. The film will premiere on Zee5 on October 4.

The Tribe

A group of Indian influencers who have been set up to crack global fame in - Los Angeles. Are they fearless or just foolish? The series features Alanna Panday, Alaviaa Jaaferi, Srushti Porey, Alfia Jafry, Aryaana Gandhi and Hardik Zaveri. It is slated to stream on October 4 on Prime Video.

Amar Prem Ki Prem Kahani

Directed by Hardik Gajjar, the movie stars Aditya Seal, Sunny Singh, Pranutan Bahl and Sammy Jonas Heaney. The story revolves around two boys who fall for each other. However, one of the boys' fathers does not agree to accept their relationship. What happens next is the movie all about. The movie will stream on JioCinema on October 4.

It’s What’s Inside

A pre-wedding reunion descends into a psychological nightmare for a group of college friends when a surprise guest arrives with a mysterious suitcase. The movie stars Brittany O'Grady, James Morosini and Alycia Debnam-Carey. It will premiere on October 4 on Netflix.
