In an interview with Digital Commentary, Kumar addressed the rumours and said that there is “no truth” to these rumours. “These are just conspiracy theories. Pata nahin yeh kaun si theory hai. Bhagwan kae yeh sach ho jaye (I don’t know where these rumours started. I wish they turn out to be true,” he added.

He also addressed rumours about him getting offers from Yash Raj Studious and receiving a call from Aamir Khan. He said that he didn’t receive a call directly from Aamir but his production house called him. “Meetings and discussions happen. Even I want to collaborate, so whenever I get a call, I pitch the stories. The gap between pitching the script and things materialising is big,” he concluded.
