Finally, the wait is over as Game of Thrones spinoff series A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms has gone on the floors in Belfast, Ireland. The makers have shared the first look at Peter Claffey, who will play the role of Ser Duncan the Tall. This has come after the release of the franchise's other prequel series House of the Dragon.

Taking to Instagram, the official page of Game of Thrones treated the fans by sharing a photo of Peter Claffey from the sets. Serving as a first look, in the image, Peter as Ser Duncan Tall can be seen walking down the street. The series is set a century before Game of Thrones. "The new @hbo Original drama series, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms, is now in production. Coming soon to @streamonmax," read the caption.
What is the plot of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms?
According to the official logline, the prequel will follow the journey of a knight named Ser Duncan the Tall who is naive but brave at heart. The series will adapt from George R. R. Martin’s novella, The Hedge Knight and tell the story of two unlikely heroes in Westeros in an era when Targaryens still rule the Iron Throne.
"Set in an age when the Targaryen line still holds the Iron Throne, and the memory of the last dragon has not yet passed from living memory, great destinies, powerful foes, and dangerous exploits all await these improbable and incomparable friends," the show synopsis reads.

The cast of A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms
The upcoming prequel stars Peter Claffey as Ser Duncan the Tall, Dexter Sol Ansell as Egg, Finn Bennett as Aerion Targaryen, Sam Spruell as Maekar Targaryen, Tanzyn Crawford as Tanselle, Bertie Carvel as Baelor Targaryen and Daniel Ings as Ser Lyonel Baratheon.
The prequel series is expected to premiere in 2025, but the makers are yet to announce the release date.
