Shekhar Home

Set against the backdrop of a sleepy town called Lonpur in Bengal in the early 1990s. Shekhar meets Jayvrat Sahni, who becomes his housemate due to a twist of fate. The duo end up solving mysteries across East India. The series debuted on JioCinema on August 14.

Emily In Paris (Season 4 - Part 1)

New passions. New fashions. New Emily? A plucky American marketing whiz spreads her wings in life and love after landing her dream job in Paris. Starring Lily Collins, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu and Ashley Park, the series is currently streaming on Netflix.

Manorathangal

The anthology, presented by Kamal Haasan,  features nine featurettes based on M. T. Vasudevan Nair's nine short stories. Titles are Olavum Theeravum, Kadugannawa; Oru Yathra Kurippu, Sherlock, Silalikhitham, Vilpana, Kadal Kattu, Kazhcha, Abhayam Thedi Veendum, and Swargam Thurakkuna Samayam. It comprises an ensemble cast including Mohanlal, Mammootty, Fahad Fazil and Biju Menon, among others. It is currently streaming on ZEE5.

Chamak: The Conclusion

The second season will see Paramvir Singh Cheema’s Kaala embarking on a powerful quest for vengeance, after becoming aware of the truth behind his father’s demise. The show released today, August 16 on SonyLIV.

Love Next Door

A woman attempting to reboot her life returns to Korea and becomes entangled with her childhood friend — with whom she shares a complicated history. The series is slated to release on Netflix on August 17.
